My equine photography has a number of International Photography Awards, notably for the critically acclaimed "The Iberian Horse in the English Landscape" series. I've studied the art and craft of photography seriously for a decade, but a camera has been in my hand from a young age; I believe photography is part of my very core, greatly inspired by my brother - a gifted musician and creative, and my grandfather who had his own darkroom and was quite the photographer. Being around creatives my entire life has been a blessing, giving me a vivid palette of reference that shapes my point of view and underpins my work. I place horses and their people intimately together in the heart of love, natural light and special locations for a magical and cinematic end result. My photography is always in physical settings - never composite work. I take my work and the trust clients place in me very seriously; this allows for truly original, one of a kind portraiture to capture the quintessential essence of the affinity between you. Good photography is just the basic, an iphone will do that these days in the right hands. Adding a dash of artistry to an understanding of the craft and extensive technical expertise allows for images that inspire, invoke emotions and capture the imagination. Giving you goosebumps when you see your personal gallery and slideshow for the first time is my ultimate goal. I have experience working with the nervous, to confident performers to master horsemen. So if you’re brave and confident, I might place you fiercely in the drama of an epic location for a once in a lifetime experience as well as images to love.
